To all those who supported us at the 2nd Annual Biggie Tribute show a couple of weeks ago, thx for coming and havin a good time.

At the moment, ther are no shows listed on our schedule because we are in the process of putting all our efforts into RECORDING OUR NEXT ALBUM, which should be finished and ready for y'all this summer. We will post updates asap.

Just wanted to report some crazy news that just kind of blows my mind...

People's Groovement has just gone up for sale on cdbaby and we've already sold copies to 5 countries in 3 contintents! It's kind of amazing. Thanks to all of you who are buying the album and leaving us messages and comments.

Just a heads up for everyone - we're playing the Velvet Lounge next Saturday (the Saturday after Thanksgiving) out on Long Island. I'll be sending out a reminder as it gets closer...

What's up peeps, this is D1. I got a few minutes before tonight's practice to send out a little blog, so here goes....
Just wanna say hello to everyone and give a little update to all of those who have been asking about us and about what we've been up to.

Well, if you didn't already know, we are finally done with the follow-up to our first album, and it's called "The People's Groovement, Volume 1". It's on sale now on our Myspace page as well as on CDbaby.com.
My opinion -
this album is a sort of docu-aqua-mentary, filled with all new music and interviews, giving everyone a sort of in-front andalso a behind-the-scenes feel for us. I, personally, am really proud of this album, and it's a sort of mixtape of Aquavibe from all different angles....it's so much "bigger" than our first album (wider musical range, more well-rounded presentation, shows our personalities, etc.). We've been getting huge love with feedback on it already from those who already got themselves a copy of it - fans seem to really love the conversations and us cracking on each other, lol.

Anyway, listen..... the individual members of the band are gonna start taking turns writing their own blogs here (we've been getting loads of requests). So, PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO OUR BLOG and we'll keep you "with us" (it'll be a more personal update/check-in process now, and you'll be able to hear from all of the individuals in the band).

Okay, I gotta run because the band is coming over now for the rehearsal/meeting (they'll start showing up in just a little while....hopefully D'Lee will be on-time tonight....um...yeah probably not )

….Playboy: The Mansion Press….

Damn, it's a good time. The "Playboy:The Mansion" video game is near release (Jan '05) and the sh*t is hitting the fan! The ESRB censors held back and gave it a mature ("M") rating rather than the adults only ("AO") as originally thought (despite the raunchy craziness in the game).
AQUAVIBE's 4AM is currently the sole track downloadable representing the entire 80+ songs and 40+ artists soundtrack for the game. Check the love below:

AQUAVIBE and PLAYBOY!!!

AQUAVIBE has been selected to be a part of the
upcoming video game "Playboy: The Mansion." The
members of AQUAVIBE will be characters in the game and
they will be using our music in the game. That means
you can talk to us, flirt with us, kiss us, and do
other things to Dox that he doesn't want his momma to
know about! "Playboy: The Mansion" will be available
this fall on PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC.

EXCITING NEWS!! Last minute show this weekend -
details are still coming in - but AQUAVIBE has been
selected to take part in the Five-Borough Battle of
the Bands sponsored by CMJ and Best of Brooklyn, Inc.
It's happening this Sunday, June 6th at the Asser Levy
Stage (at Seaside Park at Surf Ave and Ocean) at Coney
Island!!! According to CMJ's website the show begins
at noon, but we're still not sure what time we go on -
so check back here or at http://www.cmj.com/bob/ for
updates throughout the weekend.

Hope you can make it out, play in the sand, eat some
hot dogs, and hear some good music!
